Day 1: Jungfrau to Finsteraarhorn Hut

We drove from Lucern to Lauterbrunnen (1hr) and then got the train up to the Jungfraujoch (3571m). This passes through the North Face of the Eiger and has amazing viewing areas. From there we skied 8km down the Jungfraufirn to the Konkordiaplatz (2700m). Then a gentle climb of 600m and 3km to the Grunhornlucke before the final ski traverse to the Finsteraarhorn hutten (3040m).
