Gletscher Ducan ski tour. 21st February, 2004. Ski tour from Monstein over Fanezfurgga, below Chrachenhorn to the summit Gletscher Ducan and down to Sertig with Thomas Kaempfer, Andy Clifton and Richard Carroni. Two hours to the col. Another two hours in bad snow to the summit. Descent in unpleasant crust, poor light and strong winds. Just above Sertig Andy was caught in a small avalanche and buried to the neck.
