Great Yarmouth Beach Classic August, 2007

August bank holiday at the Great Yarmouth Beach Classic Volleyball Competition Cobi, Joanna, Josh and Jim headed off for a weekend's volleyball at the great Yarmouth Beach Classic. Disaster on the journey when Josh, a pilot with USAF, got recalled to base for an emergency. What a misplaced sense of priorities! The remaining three carried on. We watched the pros and played a bit ourselves on Saturday. In the evening we marveled at the Great Yarmouth night life and danced at Arena. The next day Jean Jacquet replaced Josh and we played in the mixed fours which we won only conceding one set. We finished the weekend watching the UK's top pairs in the women's and men's finals.
